PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

 

The Women’s Health Unit strives to deliver a high standard of practice and care by ensuring our care is patient-centred and privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.

 

The Women’s Health Unit will do this by providing our clients, their families and other service users with evidence-based, high quality, cost effective care in a safe, clean and comfortable environment.

 

 

The purpose of the Women’s Health Unit is to facilitate:

​

• Day case gynaecology surgery

• A termination of pregnancy service

• Care for early pregnancy problems

• A variety of clinics performing small procedures and investigations

• Ward attenders

Work hours: Mon-Fri 08;00-16:00​​
